Emma Woodthorpe is a children's author and illustrator living in Sheffield, England. Having gained a First Class BA (hons) in English Literature and an MA in Literature Studies, she now combines her passion for reading and writing with her art and illustration career to create children's rhyming picture books. Emma has worked as a Teaching Assistant working with Foundation Stage and Key Stage 1 Children, and has first hand knowledge about the importance of reading for children.
